Job summary

SECU in North Carolina seeks a Lead Member Services Officer who will mentor staff, manage branch operations in the absence of leadership, and lead lending reviews to ensure policy compliance. You will supervise collections, coordinate with Loss Mitigation, support tax-advantaged accounts, and train newer staff to deliver exceptional member service.

This role requires strong leadership, risk awareness, and the ability to balance multiple duties across consumer lending, deposits, and service

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of SECU or closely related branch experience.
• Leadership and mentoring experience required.
• Knowledge of consumer lending and branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead MSO in branch operations and risk management.
• Oversee loan underwriting and ensure policy compliance.
• Supervise collections and coordinate with Loss Mitigation.
• Mentor newer staff and provide training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with account management and deposits across channels.
