Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist IV at the Arden Town Branch in Sacramento, CA. The non-exempt role reports to the Branch Manager with a pay range of $25.50 per hour.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and general ledger entries, while delivering Golden 1 services, building member relationships, and identifying financial needs for solutions. Compliance and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a leadership role at another financial institution preferred.
• 1.5+ years in a Member Service Specialist III role preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assess members’ needs while processing transactions and document opportunities in EnAct.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations.
• Assist in branch operations and maintain confidentiality of member and credit union information.
• Open deposit and specialty accounts (e.g., Roth IRA) and refer lending/investment needs to business partners.
