Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Member Service Specialist III to join the Elk Grove Commons Branch. This non-exempt role reports to the Branch Manager and participates in daily branch operations, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with a focus on accurate cash handling.

You will open deposits and specialty accounts, provide trusted financial guidance, and mentor MSS I/II staff while upholding all policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior experience in a banker role or customer relationship role preferred.
• 1+ year as MSS II or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries with a cash drawer.
• Assesses members' needs while processing transactions and documents in EnAct.
• Identifies opportunities to help members with Golden 1 products and services.
• Notarizes member documents and ensures confidentiality of information.
