Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is seeking a results-driven Member Service professional to nurture relationships with a diverse book of Members. You will open and maintain deposit accounts, process loans and new accounts, and proactively cross-sell products to meet Members' financial goals.

Using a consultative approach, you will educate Members on digital banking tools, resolve inquiries promptly, and collaborate with team members to deliver world-class service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 3 or more years of experience in Member Service, banking, new accounts and lending is required.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Completes loan and new account applications, loan interviewing and funding.
• Builds consumer loan packages with attention to detail to ensure they are error free.
• Places cross-sell opportunities for products such as checking, savings, credit cards, loans, CDs, and money markets.
• Provides coaching and guidance on complex issues to team members.
• Educates members on emerging and existing credit union technology and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
