Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is seeking an energetic Member Service specialist to nurture relationships, process complex accounts and loans, and educate members on digital solutions. You will use consultative sales to tailor recommendations and support the Member Center with timely, accurate service.

In this role, you will handle outbound outreach, cross-sell products, and collaborate with teammates to ensure compliance and top-tier member experiences, including Saturdays as part of core

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in Member Service, banking, new accounts and lending.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Proficiency with basic computer and ten-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Completes loan and new account applications, loan interviewing and funding.
• Provides coaching and guidance on complex issues to team members.
• Achieves personal sales goals by cross-selling platform products.
• Problem Resolution: Owns Member issues through resolution.
• Educates members on emerging and existing credit union technology and digital solutions.
• Achieve required levels of outbound phone calls as proactive outreach.
• Participates in community development activities as assigned.
• Completes mandatory compliance testing and follows BSA procedures.
