Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Mega Projects Estimator for Water/Wastewater treatment plants to develop accurate quantity takeoffs for complex infrastructure projects. You will support bid work and design-build, contributing material insights, constructability input, and cost guidance early in project development.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering and design teams to ensure compliant material selections and timely, competitive quotations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimation experience in water/wastewater or critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in detailed material quantity takeoffs from construction plans.
• Strong understanding of civil and mechanical infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings and specs to determine requirements.
• Produce detailed material takeoffs for critical infrastructure facilities and systems.
• Identify materials and components needed to meet design criteria.
• Support design-build projects with early design material evaluation and value engineering options.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and design teams to support bid strategies and quotes.
