Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks a Mega Projects Estimator for Water/Wastewater treatment plants within the Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG).

The role focuses on accurate quantity takeoffs for complex projects and supports both bid work and design-build delivery. You will collaborate with sales, engineering and design teams to guide bid strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide constructability and cost insights to win bids.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of estimation experience in water/wastewater or critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to perform detailed material quantity takeoffs from construction plans.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing work of junior estimators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings and specs to determine project requirements.
• Produce detailed quantity takeoffs for critical infrastructure facilities and systems.
• Identify materials and components meeting design criteria.
