Job summary

Core & Main, a leader in infrastructure solutions, seeks a Mega Projects Estimator for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants within the Critical Infrastructure Group. You will develop accurate quantity takeoffs for complex projects, influence material selections, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations through close collaboration with sales, engineering, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans, drawings, and specs to determine project requirements.
• Produces detailed material quantity takeoffs for critical infrastructure facilities.
• Identifies appropriate materials and specialty components to meet design criteria.
• Participates in design-build projects by evaluating material in early and late design stages.
• Leads pre- and post-takeoff communications to ensure knowledge transfer and accurate quotes.
