Job summary

American Chemical Society is seeking a Senior Meetings Technology Manager to lead the meetings tech stack, build registration sites, and manage attendee platforms. The role requires hands-on SaaS administration, vendor coordination, and collaboration with IT and procurement to drive platform strategy.

You'll design intuitive attendee experiences, ensure PCI/payment workflows, and support QA/UAT across multiple meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CMP preferred or similar certification is desirable.
• 7–10 years in meetings/events technology or related operations.
• Experience administering event-related SaaS tools (permissions, SSO/SAML, basic API tests).
• Hands-on in building registration sites and mobile apps (PCI awareness).
• Knowledge of accessibility, localization, and data privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meetings management technology and attendee management tools.
• Serve as system administrator for meeting SaaS platforms and ensure proper configuration.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and roadmap alignment with IT/Procurement.
• Build registration websites and mobile apps with on-brand UX and payment flows.
• Drive process improvements, QA/UAT, and cross-functional project delivery.
