Job summary

The American Chemical Society is seeking a Senior Meetings Technology Manager to lead the meetings technology stack, registration and attendee management across conferences. You will be the system administrator for meeting-related SaaS platforms, deliver seamless user experiences, and drive continuous improvement in process and tooling.

You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate with IT/Security/Procurement, and guide cross‑functional teams to meet meeting requirements, including PCI

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in meetings/events technology, registration platforms, or marketing/event operations.
• CMP preferred and Cvent certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of accepted practices guidelines for meeting planning (or similar).
• Experience administering event SaaS tools (SSO/SAML, basic API testing, templates, data fields, integrations).
• Hands-on experience building registration websites and mobile apps (PCI aware flows).
• QA/UAT: checklists, link testing, accessibility basics (WCAG) and mobile responsiveness.
• Vendor/technology provider management including SLAs and renewals with procurement/IT.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meeting technology toolkit, configure SaaS tools, provide user support.
• Manage registration websites and attendee data workflows.
• Build attendee experiences with on-brand registration pages and apps.
• Manage vendor relationships and platform roadmaps with procurement/IT.
• Drive process improvements and document SOPs.
