Job summary

Marriott Phoenix Airport is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to drive revenue by selling and coordinating group meetings, conferences, and social events at the hotel. You will prospect new clients, manage event logistics, and coordinate with Sales & Catering and operations to deliver flawless events.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, presenting to clients, site visits, and ensuring client satisfaction from pre-event to post-event.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event sales, planning, or coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit, negotiate, and secure group bookings for meetings, conferences, and social events.
• Produce room, banquet, and room rental revenue through prospecting, presentations, contracts, negotiations and closing sales.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and prospect new business opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and local businesses.
• Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel’s meeting spaces and services.
