Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform and interpret tests across core lab areas. You will work with equipment, ensure quality control, and support patient care with accurate results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, three years of related experience, and CLIA high‑complexity supervision eligibility. A signing bonus may be discussed during interviews in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Medical Technology.
• Three years of related experience in a clinical lab environment required.
• ASCP certification as MT preferred.
• Must qualify as General Supervisor under CLIA high‑complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Follows established protocols to perform and interpret tests in assigned area.
• Correlates test results with patient history to guide treatment.
• Troubleshoots testing process discrepancies and equipment issues.
• Maintains equipment and performs QA/QC for the department.
• Rotates to Marlboro Campus Lab- Medical Center and collaborates with team.
