Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or completion of an accredited four-year school of Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT certification is preferred.
• Three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows established protocols to perform tests, including the most complex, for an assigned area.
• Interprets and correlates test results with patient history and diagnosis.
• Troubleshoots testing process discrepancies.
• Assists in development of new tests and quality procedures.
• Ensures equipment maintenance and quality control.
• Instructs staff in setup and operation of new equipment and procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of tests performed.
