Job summary

The role requires leadership of lab personnel, adherence to CLIA regulations, and hands-on oversight of hematology, chemistry, and blood bank workflows. On-site work with potential cross-campus coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or successful completion of an accredited four-year Medical Technology program.
• Three years of related experience in a clinical lab.
• Must qualify as a General Supervisor under CLIA for high-complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret high-complexity chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, hematology, chemistry, and blood bank tests.
• Provide guidance and consultation to Medical Technologists and lab staff.
• Interpret and correlate clinical test results with patient history and diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot testing process discrepancies and ensure QC compliance.
• Assist in developing new tests and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate test records using computer-based systems.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
