The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (MSA) position is located within the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System, Veterans Community Care Service. The Supervisory MSA serves as direct line supervisor for Advanced MSA and Lead MSA staff in the VA Community Care department.

The Supervisory MSA is a professional who executes responsibilities with expertise, leadership, and creative approaches to daily patient care coordination.

Qualificações

• US citizenship is required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Proficient in spoken and written English per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced administrative patient support.
• Coordinate clinic appointment availability and scheduling across multiple clinics and community resources.
• Communicate with patient care team and external partners to ensure continuity of care.
• Enter and verify information into the electronic health record and patient systems.
• Participate in team huddles and planning to manage patient flow and priorities.
