Qualifications

• ASCP certified generalist or equivalent credential required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for assigned areas of expertise and provide technical support to staff.
• Oversee quality control reviews and instrument logs to ensure accurate results.
• Lead workflow management and staff allocation across the lab.
• Train Medical Lab Scientists and Technicians; participate in training/competency development.
• Act as liaison between Lab Support Services and technical departments; communicate with external clients.
• Provide leadership in the absence of Clinical Managers and participate in staffing decisions.
