Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology or Biological Science.
• ASCP certification or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource for assigned areas of expertise and provides technical support to staff.
• Oversees quality control reviews and instrumentation logs to ensure accuracy of results.
• Monitors daily operations and delegates duties within the lab; reallocates resources as needed.
• Trains Medical Lab Scientists and Medical Lab Technicians; participates in training program development.
• Acts as liaison between Lab Support Services and clinical departments; communicates with external clients.
