Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required.
• ASCP certification or equivalent required/preferred.
• 3 years of full-time lab experience required; 5+ years preferred for external applicants.
• Demonstrates autonomy and ability to lead multiple projects and staffing needs.
• Experience with computers and MS Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full range of laboratory tests per SOPs and report findings to clinicians.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot test systems, and manage reagents and supplies.
• Review quality control and instrumentation logs; contribute to technical decisions.
• Lead daily workflow, allocate resources, and monitor operations.
• Train staff and participate in competency program development; mentor residents and fellows.
• Serve as liaison between Lab Support Services and technical departments.
