Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Informatics, to lead clinical product and technology strategy for Epic-enabled healthcare delivery across Enterprise CVS Health Technology. The position balances 0.2 FTE in clinical practice with 0.8 FTE in clinical informatics leadership, and involves domestic travel 1-2 times per quarter.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with ability to remain in clinical practice (~20% clinical FTE).
• Epic Builder training and certification or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.
• Minimum 5 years of ambulatory clinical practice experience.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and building relationships across a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior product leader across Clinic Operations and Quality & Stars technical domains, driving end-to-end technology solutions.
• Lead enterprise-wide Epic optimization to improve workflows, quality, and patient safety.
• Translate clinical and business needs into actionable Epic roadmaps and clinician tools.
• Support Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and change management; sponsor go-lives.
• Monitor adoption and effectiveness of Epic enhancements and push for improvements.
