Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics to guide Epic-enabled technology delivery across key domains. This role combines clinical leadership with product strategy to improve care pathways and business outcomes.

The position includes hands-on Epic build expertise, collaboration with executive stakeholders, and responsibility for governance, risk, and impact across the enterprise. A 0.2 FTE clinical practice component is described.

Qualifications

Licensed clinician - MD/DO (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med-Peds), NP, PA in good standing.
Enthusiastic about remaining in clinical practice (~20% clinical FTE).
10-12 years of relevant work experience.
Advanced ability to lead and influence across a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior product leader across Clinic Operations and Quality & Stars technical domains, translating clinical needs into Epic-enabled tech solutions.
Lead enterprise-wide Epic optimization to improve workflows, quality, and patient safety.
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to align Epic roadmaps with organizational strategy and governance.
Monitor Epic enhancements and drive continuous improvements enterprise-wide.
Mentor clinical informatics team members and nurture leadership bench strength.
