Job summary

The team will design and scale manufacturing processes, lead DOE studies, and drive data-driven improvements in a regulated environment. Strong CAD, data analysis, and hands-on engineering skills are essential for success in this medical device setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5–8 years related experience or Master’s degree with 2–5 years experience or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience operating and programming signal processing equipment or automated liquid handling robotics.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
• Proficient in data analysis and hands-on execution in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate equipment and processes for R&D scale builds that scale to commercial processes.
• Develop processes and evaluation systems to support DOEs for R&D projects.
• Lead material characterization, dispensing, and cure-related projects, including root-cause analysis.
• Scale up equipment from prototype to pilot to full-scale manufacturing.
• Provide training to pilot plant operators and develop fixtures and assembly tooling.
• Set up data acquisition infrastructure and analyze large data sets to draw conclusions.
