Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a senior engineering professional to own the development and characterization of biosensing processes and equipment, from concept to full line integration. You will manage timelines, lead DOEs, and drive sensor fabrication improvements with a cross-functional team.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate R&D builds in a pilot facility, and work with vendors to scale processes for high-volume manufacturing. Strong communication and data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5–8 years related experience, or Master’s with 2–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience leading R&D to pilot and scale manufacturing processes.
• Strong background in biosensing fabrication and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Own development and characterization of processes and equipment from concept to line implementation.
• Develop timelines, provide updates to leadership, and lead DOEs to down select capable processes.
• Apply biosensing knowledge to develop sensor fabrication processes and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Lead a team of engineers, define risk mitigations, and ensure scale-up from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate equipment and ensure feasibility for high-capability manufacturing.
• Create test plans, protocols, and reports documenting concept feasibility.
