Job summary

Dexcom Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff Process Development Engineer to lead product/process development and transfer for CGM devices in both CER and lab environments. You will drive technical requirements for scalable manufacturing and work with R&D, QA, and site teams to ensure on-time delivery and robust product performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, mentoring colleagues, and driving efficiency across manufacturing facilities to reduce scrap and increase margins.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration across functional teams.
• Strong background in product design lifecycle and product transfer to manufacturing.
• Experience in study design, data analysis, and statistical interpretation of results.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and drive projects with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on engineering experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to coach and mentor engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and optimize new manufacturing processes and test methods in CER and lab settings.
• Define technical requirements and specifications for scaled production (applicator, transmitter, wearable).
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and site personnel to gain approvals with minimal oversight.
• Provide guidance and training on test methods and data analysis to staff.
• Identify and procure analytical tools and equipment to meet process goals from concept to implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex product/process issues and drive improvements.
• Investigate field failures and perform root-cause analysis to improve robustness.
