Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related capabilities, backlog management, and implementation support within the care management and utilization management platform. You will partner with Medicaid market leaders, clinical operations, and Agile teams to define product vision and ensure solutions meet regulatory and member-experience goals.

REMOTE position based in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years experience supporting healthcare technology platforms in a Product Owner/BA/PM/Configuration role.
Hands-on experience with care management/utilization management platforms.
Strong understanding of Medicaid care and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

Serve as the product owner for Medicaid-related capabilities within the platform.
Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and business outcomes with stakeholders.
Own, maintain, and prioritize the backlog based on value, compliance, and dependencies.
Translate business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration specs.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder walkthroughs with Agile teams.
Configure management activities including design, validation, documentation, and governance.
Evaluate configuration options with vendors and internal teams for impacts and risks.
Ensure solutions support Medicaid workflows: assessments, care plans, authorizations, referrals, case management, and reporting.
