Job summary

Humana seeks a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related capabilities and backlog management within care management platforms. You will collaborate with Medicaid leaders, clinical operations, compliance, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure regulatory and member experience outcomes.

You will own the product backlog, define vision, and oversee configuration changes, testing, and deployment with Agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience supporting healthcare technology platforms.
• Hands-on experience with GuidingCare, Epic, or comparable care management platforms.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the product owner for Medicaid-related capabilities within the application or comparable platform.
• Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and business outcomes with stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on value, regulatory requirements, and operational impact.
• Translate business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration specs.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement reviews, and demos with Agile teams.
