Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related capabilities, backlog, and implementation support within care management platforms. You will partner with Medicaid market leaders, clinical operations, and IT teams to define product vision, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and ensure compliant, high-value solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
5+ years supporting healthcare technology platforms.
Experience with Medicaid care management and utilization management.
Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Own, prioritize, and refine the Medicaid capabilities backlog.
Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and business outcomes with stakeholders.
Translate business needs into features, user stories, requirements, and configuration specs.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and stakeholder walkthroughs with Agile teams.
Lead configuration management activities including analysis, design, validation, implementation, documentation, and governance.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate options, integrations, and risks.
Ensure solutions support Medicaid care and utilization workflows and reporting needs.
Partner with compliance and regulatory stakeholders to align with requirements.
Configure, validate, test, and deploy system changes per governance processes.
Support implementation planning, release readiness, and post-release adoption.
