Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related capabilities within care management platforms. You will own the product backlog, translate business needs into actionable features, and align configurations with regulatory and operational goals.

You will partner with clinical operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver solutions that optimize member experience, care management workflows, and reporting needs. Remote role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years experience supporting healthcare technology platforms in PO/BA capacity.
• Hands-on experience with care management platforms (GuidingCare, Epic) or similar.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid care management, utilization management, and clinical workflows.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Medicaid-related capabilities backlog and product backlog prioritization.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with vendor and internal teams on options, integrations, and risks.
• Ensure configurations align with regulatory and security requirements.
• Support change management, training, and adoption activities.
• Document rules, decisions, and workflows with version control.
