Job summary

Humana seeks a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related product capabilities, backlog management and implementation support within care management platforms. You will partner with Medicaid leaders, clinical operations, compliance, and Agile delivery teams to define the product vision, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and ensure compliant, effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience supporting healthcare technology platforms, preferably in a Product Owner/Business Analyst role.
• Hands-on experience with care management or population health platforms.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid care management and related workflows.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for Medicaid-related capabilities in care management platforms.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities with stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize backlog based on business value and regulatory requirements.
• Translate business needs into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder demos with Agile teams.
• Manage configuration activities and governance for Medicaid capabilities.
• Evaluate configuration options, integrations, and risks with partners and tech teams.
• Ensure solutions support Medicaid workflows, including assessments, care plans, and authorizations.
• Collaborate with compliance to meet regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Support change management, training, and deployment activities.
• Monitor performance and adoption metrics to optimize the platform.
