Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to lead Medicaid-related capabilities within our care management and utilization management platforms. You will define product vision, own the backlog, and collaborate with Medicaid market leaders, clinical operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, IT, Clinical Operations, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting healthcare technology platforms, in PO/BA/PM or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with GuidingCare, Epic, or comparable care management platforms.
• Solid understanding of Medicaid care and utilization management workflows.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/SAFe).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, able to explain tech to non-tech audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own Medicaid-related capabilities and backlog in care management/UM platforms.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and stakeholder reviews.
• Configure, test, validate, and govern Medicaid configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on options, risks, and releases.
• Monitor performance, adoption metrics, and outcomes to drive optimization.
