Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Media Specialist TAM to manage long-term operational health of deployed media solutions and work across Elemental products to translate customer needs into production-ready features.

You will collaborate with AWS TAMs, Solutions Architects, and Product teams to define requirements, deliver end-to-end media workflows, and ensure ongoing success for assigned customers across 24x7 environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• 4+ years technical project management, technical account management, or professional services consulting with customer-facing responsibilities.
• 2+ years in a technical role within a software engineering‑focused business.
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
• Video processing technologies (MPEG2 / AVC/ HEVC).
• Adaptive bitrate video streaming and delivery technologies.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and off-boarding requirements of assigned key customers.
• Own customer health dashboards for media workflows, working with AWS TAMs and Technical Project Manager.
• Define detailed customer project requirements and scope feature tickets with AWS Solutions Architects.
• Interface with customer project managers and technical owners to deliver product releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize customer requirements.
• Work with Engineering managers to ensure delivery of product features meeting requirements.
• Advocate and own availability of customer test environments at AWS or customer locations.
• Verify implemented product features and test multi-product customer workflows.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams across organizations.
• Mentor junior Media Specialist TAMs and Engineers, and establish team-level metrics.
