Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Media Specialist TAM to own the long-term operational health of deployed media solutions. You will onboard and offboard customers, manage health dashboards, and coordinate with TAMs, SAs, and engineering to drive features that meet customer needs.

This role works out of an AWS office in Herndon, VA, with potential travel to align with customer projects and mentorship responsibilities for junior TAMs and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• 4+ years technical project management, technical account management, or professional services consulting with customer-facing responsibilities.
• 2+ years in a technical role within a software engineering-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Complete the onboarding and off-boarding requirements of assigned key customers.
• Own customer health dashboards for media workflows with AWS TAMs and Technical Project Manager.
• Define detailed customer project requirements and scope feature tickets with AWS Elemental teams.
• Interface with customer project managers to understand requirements and deliver product releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize customer requirements and advocate for the customer.
• Work with Engineering managers to ensure delivery of product features that meet customer requirements.
• Define and maintain customer test environments and ensure feature availability.
• Verify implemented product features and test multi-product customer workflows.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams across organizations.
• Mentor junior Media Specialist TAMs and Engineers.
• Define and implement team level metrics and processes.
