Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Media Specialist TAM to own long-term operational health of deployed media solutions and coordinate with AWS TAMs and Solutions Architects across Elemental media products and CloudFront.

The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering, and Professional Services to translate customer requirements into production-ready features, and mentoring junior TAMs and engineers in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• 4+ years technical project management, technical account management, or professional services consulting experience with customer-facing responsibilities.
• 2+ years experience in a technical role within a software engineering-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and off-board assigned key customers.
• Own customer health dashboards for media workflows.
• Define detailed customer project requirements and scope feature tickets with AWS teams.
• Interface with customer project managers and technical owners to understand requirements and deliver product releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize customer requirements.
• Work with Engineering managers to ensure delivery of product features to meet customer requirements.
• Advocate, specify, and own the availability of customer test environments.
• Verify implemented product features and test multi-product customer project workflows.
• Communicate with customers and internally across organizations.
• Mentor junior Media Specialist TAMs and Engineers.
• Define and implement team level metrics and processes.
