Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions and manage projects, while mentoring other technicians.

The role requires strong hands-on skills with conveyors, PLCs, CMMS, blueprints, and vendor coordination. You’ll train staff, ensure safety, and collaborate across the Operations facility to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE) like automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years in preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years with CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; document management.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install and service control components.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
