Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor both direct and contract technicians.

The role requires ensuring safety, maintaining conveyors, and training staff while collaborating with the Operations Maintenance Team to deliver reliable equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years with material handling equipment ( conveyors and controls).
• 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years reading blueprints/schematics.
• 3+ years with CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading/mentoring junior technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install/repair relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, solenoids.
• Monitoring: Create and close out work orders with labor, equipment, parts data.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
