Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Canton, MS to lead technicians, design solutions, and mentor staff in maintaining automated packaging systems. You will install and troubleshoot PLCs, read electrical schematics, and manage critical asset repairs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong maintenance experience, and flexibility to work extended shifts in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 4+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related systems.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical/electronic principles.
• 4+ years safety standards experience.
• 4+ years troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment and facility systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and coordinate vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and controls.
• Create and close work orders with labor, parts, and asset data; develop emergency repair plans.
• Move heavy loads, climb ladders, and perform bending and reaching as required.
