Job summary

Amazon in Canton, MS is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead the installation, repair, and optimization of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will mentor service technicians and drive projects within the Operations Maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Reading blueprints and electrical schematics is essential.
• Experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) and automated conveyor systems.
• Experience with safety standards and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment and facility systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours and parts used; develop emergency repair plans.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
