Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will train and mentor technicians, oversee vendors for repairs, and help implement safety standards across MHE systems.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems
• 4+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience
• 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• 4+ years of troubleshooting MHE and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment including FLS systems
• Lead a team of service technicians and train contractors
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components
• Create and close work orders with labor hours and parts
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks and handle heavy equipment up to 49lbs
