Job summary

EMCOR Group in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate complex mechanical and plumbing construction projects. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

You will work with field teams, manage change orders, document project scope, and maintain warranties while ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field with progressive construction experience.
• 5+ years progressive construction experience or 12 years overall; 10 years with associate degree.
• Proficient in Accubid, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam; familiar with local codes and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers, colleagues, supervisors, administrative staff, field craft workers, field supervision, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop project financial plans and oversee budgets, buyouts, and CAD budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement, scope changes, and timely payments.
• Manage project initiation, kickoff meetings, and scheduling to ensure success.
• Finalize documentation and warranty letters; monitor costs and avoid overruns.
• Coordinate site mobilization/demobilization and submit RFIs/Submittals.
