Job summary

EMCOR Group seeks a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate construction projects, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and field problem resolution. The role demands collaboration with field personnel, subcontractors, and owners to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

The candidate will manage start-up staffing, weekly meetings, and closeout tasks, with a focus on maintaining financial transparency and warranty compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in construction management or mechanical engineering with 5+ years’ construction experience, or 12 years progressive construction experience.
• Or an Associate degree with 10+ years progressive construction experience.
• Proficient in Accubid, MS Project and Bluebeam to streamline planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff while maintaining integrity.
• Develop project financial plans, budgets, and procurement strategies; approve POs and CAD budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement, scope changes, and timely payments; ensure contract alignment with client expectations.
• Manage project initiation, staffing, kickoff meetings, and weekly progress reviews.
• Finalize documentation, ensure warranty compliance, and monitor costs to prevent overruns.
• Coordinate site mobilization/demobilization, laydown areas, and utility hookups for smooth execution.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals; collaborate with CAD for drawings integration.
• Work with safety to implement site-specific safety requirements and ensure safety compliance.
