Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Project Manager in Colorado to lead mechanical and electrical construction projects. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities across scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.

You will support field personnel, manage cost projections, and ensure warranty compliance. Responsibilities include developing budgets, leading kickoff and weekly meetings, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering complete project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM or Mech Eng or related field with 5+ years construction experience, or 12+ years total.
• Proficiency in Accubid, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with local municipal codes, plan reviews, permitting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans; approve CAD budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement and change orders; ensure timely payments.
• Negotiate contract scope and manage project changes to align with client expectations.
• Lead kickoff meetings, weekly project meetings, and schedule management.
• Finalize documentation, close purchase orders and subcontracts, ensure warranty letters.
• Monitor costs and produce final cost projections to prevent overruns.
• Manage site mobilization and demobilization; arrange laydown areas and hookups.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals; deliver to CAD for drawings integration.
• Collaborate with safety to implement project-specific safety requirements.
• Daily tasks vary by project specifics and timeline.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management or mechanical engineering or related field

5+ years progressive construction experience

12+ years progressive construction experience

Associate degree and 10 years progressive construction experience
