Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator in Chicago to lead the development of the total project estimate and coordinate with the project team. You will develop the estimate plan, prepare basis of estimate, and analyze risks to inform contingency recommendations.

You will maintain local rate libraries and drive accuracy across bids, with a focus on building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, proficiency with Sage Timberline,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in construction projects.
• Experience leading estimate development and project-wide BOS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Chartered status (RICS/CEP/CPE) or on the path to achieve it; company support available.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, advising contingency.
• Analyze and recommend solutions for complex problems per guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
