Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator in Raleigh, NC to lead comprehensive cost estimates for complex projects. You will collaborate with project teams, develop estimates, and ensure alignment with objectives and guidelines.

You will bring 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX, and strong communication skills. This role offers growth within a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience with major estimating systems (Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX).
• Degree or comparable construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to complete it.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, with contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity aligned to objectives.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
