Job summary

Linesight in Dallas is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our global project and cost management team. You will develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.

You will lead the total project estimate, prepare the Basis of Estimate and risk analysis, recommend contingencies, analyze complex issues, and maintain a library of local rate data for all estimates. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in a construction environment with increasing responsibility.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
