Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our global project and cost management team in the United States. You will develop and lead the total project estimate, coordinate with project teams, and maintain our local rate library, ensuring cost effectiveness and accuracy across complex construction projects.

The role requires 10+ years of estimator experience, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX, and a construction-related degree.

Qualifications

Have 10+ years of estimator experience with growing scope and responsibility in construction.
Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
Hold a degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
Are RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on track to complete it (we can help).
Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
Detail oriented and quality focused.
Thrive on building strong relationships with team and clients through shared purpose and openness.

Responsibilities

Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
Lead the development of the total project estimate.
Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, with contingency recommendations.
Analyze and make recommendations for solutions to problems with varying complexity per guidelines.
Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
