Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator (Electrical) in San Francisco to lead the development of comprehensive estimates for complex projects. You will coordinate with the project team, prepare project basis of estimate, and analyze risks to advise contingency plans.

Strong experience in value engineering and client relations will be essential. The role requires 10+ years in estimation within construction, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX, and a construction-related degree.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an Estimator with increasing scope in construction
• Experience with established estimating systems
• Degree or related discipline in construction

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, including contingency recommendations
• Analyze and recommend solutions to complex problems per project guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
