Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator in Tempe, AZ to guide project cost estimation. You will lead the total project estimate, Basis of Estimate, and risk analysis, while maintaining local rate libraries and driving solutions to complex estimation challenges.

The role requires a decade of experience in construction estimation, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and a construction-related degree. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an Estimator in a construction environment with increasing scope.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree in a construction-related discipline; professional chartering in progress encouraged.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to build client and team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate and basis of estimate.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis with contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and propose solutions to complex estimation problems per guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
