CannonDesign in the United States is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team on HVAC design for large-scale educational, healthcare, corporate and science & technology facilities, with a preference for Arlington, VA area.

You will mentor designers, oversee QAQC, manage Revit/BIM modeling workflows, direct project teams, interface with clients and owners, and contribute to value engineering while monitoring budgets and schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
• Current PE in the United States required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering.
• Ability to serve in QAQC process and as an independent reviewer.
• Must be a critical thinker and highly analytical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to interface with clients and design team.
• Experience with Revit and Trane design tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform and direct complex HVAC design for large-scale buildings and mentor designers.
• Interface with clients and project teams; participate in Owner/Architect meetings.
• Lead QAQC reviews and independent design checks.
• Direct work of staff, including performance reviews.
• Oversee BIM/Revit modeling from schematic design to construction administration.
• Participate in value engineering sessions and budgeting discussions.
• Respond to RFIs and review change orders; support site visits and construction administration.
