Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to perform design and stress analyses of NSSS components for modular LWRs. The role focuses on ASME Section III compliance, ANSYS simulations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, while providing mentorship and technical direction.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in ANSYS-based stress analysis, familiarity with CAD tools, and a PE designation preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering required; mechanical preferred; advanced degree ok.
• Minimum 10 years’ full-time relevant experience in ANSYS stress analysis.
• P.E. certification preferred; experience with ASME Section III is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and stress analyses of pressure vessels and primary equipment supports per ASME BPVC Section III.
• Lead NSSS Component Analysis group and provide technical direction.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on design issues.
