Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Piping and Stress Analysis Engineer for the NSSS design team. You will design and analyze ASME BPVC Section III piping systems using AutoPIPE, ANSYS and NX CAD, and ensure compliance with NB/NC/ND-3600, NB-3200 and NF under NQA-1 quality controls.

Responsibilities include preparing specifications, drawings and models, reviewing designer work, and proposing piping solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Nuclear or Mechanical
• PE certification preferred
• Experience with ASME BPVC Section III piping design and stress analysis

Responsibilities

• Performs piping design and stress analysis of ASME BPVC Section III piping systems using AutoPIPE and ANSYS
• Performs pipe support design and stress analysis using NF supports
• Prepares and reviews drawings, CAD models and specifications
• Collaborates with drafters and reviews NX models
• Travels as needed for business requirements
