Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting a Contractor Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Vessels and Structures division. The role focuses on design and stress analyses of pressure vessels and primary equipment supports per ASME III, using ANSYS and CAD tools.

You will mentor staff and serve as a technical lead for NSSS analysis, ensuring compliance with 10 CFR and NQA-1 guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited college; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Experience with ASME Section III analyses and ANSYS Workbench required.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and stress analyses of NSSS components per ASME III and regulatory requirements.
• Lead NSSS Component Analysis with technical direction to staff.
• Mentor colleagues and provide engineering oversight.
• Interact across disciplines to coordinate design activities and resolve problems.
• Ensure compliance with 10 CFR and NQA-1 quality requirements.
